Public Safety Advisory

On March 8, UIC Police received information that on Aug. 26, 2016, at approximately 3:15 a.m. a UIC student was a victim of criminal sexual assault by an acquaintance. The crime, which was reported through an online Campus Security Authority Incident Reporting Form, occurred inside a parked car at 729 W. Rochford St.

The offender is described as a black male, 5-7 in height, 150 pounds with red hair.

The university is providing resources to assist the victim and will continue to take actions to maintain the safety and security of the campus community.

UIC Police are leading the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 312-996-2830.
