Crime alert

On Thursday, April 13, at approximately 1:00 p.m., a UIC student was the victim of an Aggravated Domestic Battery and Criminal Sexual Assault in Section 1B on the basement level of the Halsted Street Parking Structure, 760 W. Taylor St. During the assault, the victim was cut with an unknown instrument and was subsequently transported to the hospital. The male assailant is known to the victim but has not been identified and no description is available. He fled on foot from a white 2012 Toyota Sienna minivan recovered at the scene.
