Public Safety Advisory

On Friday, April 21, at approximately 11:15 a.m., UIC Police responded to a call of a robbery that occurred near W. Roosevelt Rd. and S. Morgan St. Witnesses reported an unidentified female victim ran into the Physical Education Building located at 901 W. Roosevelt Rd. and yelled that she had been robbed. At that time an unknown male suspect fled the building exiting out of the south entrance toward S. Morgan St. The victim did not remain on the scene. The offender is described as a black male wearing a black hoodie, possibly with a cut in his face. UIC Police searched the area without results.

--Don't display valuables in public.
--On campus, look for the location of the nearest emergency call box (there are more than 1,500 across campus.)

--Report crime promptly to police.
